കൊല്ലവർഷം 1090 ചിങ്ങം 16 - ആം തീയതി ഗുരുദേവനും ആലുംമൂട്ടിൽ ചാന്നാരും ഒന്നിച്ചു മദ്രാസിലെത്തി പത്തു ദിവസം അവിടെ താമസിച്ചു. ഡോക്ടർ പല്‍പുവിന്‍റെ ക്ഷണം അനുസരിച്ച് ഗുരുദേവൻ മദിരാശിയിൽ നിന്നും ബാംഗ്ലൂരിലേക്ക് പോയി. ഓണക്കാലമായത് കൊണ്ട് ആലുംമൂട്ടിൽ ചാന്നാർ തിരികെ നാട്ടിലേക്കും തിരിച്ചു. നാലോ അഞ്ചോ ദിവസങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം തിരുവല്ലയിൽ എത്തും എന്നു ഗുരുദേവൻ ചാന്നാരെ അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. തിരുവല്ലയിൽ ഗുരുദേവൻ എത്തുന്നത് മൂലൂർ . എസ് . പദ്മനാഭ പണിക്കരെ അറിയിക്കണം എന്നും ചാന്നാരോട് അരുളി ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഗുരുദേവനോടൊപ്പം സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നതിലും അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പം കഴിയുന്നതിലും ചാന്നാർ വളരെ അധികം സമയം ചിലവഴിച്ചിരുന്നു.
In the year 1090 of the Kollavarsham calendar, on the 16th day of Chingam, Gurudevan and Aalummoottil Channaar arrived in Madras and stayed there for ten days. Following Dr. Palpu’s invitation, Gurudevan traveled from Madras to Bangalore. Since it was the Onam season, Aalummoottil Channaar returned to his hometown. After four or five days, Gurudevan informed Channaar that he would reach Tiruvalla. He also instructed Channaar to inform Mooloor S. Padmanabha Panikkar about his arrival in Tiruvalla. Channaar spent a lot of time traveling and staying with Gurudevan.
