ആലുംമൂട്ടിൽ തറവാടിന്റെ തെക്ക് വശത്തായി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്തിരുന്ന കുടുംബ ക്ഷേത്രമായ തെക്കേടത്ത് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ശിവപ്രതിഷ്ഠയായിരുന്നു പ്രധാനമായത്. നടരാജൻ ആയ ശിവന്റെ ഭക്തർ ആയിരുന്ന കുടുംബക്കാർ ഭാരതനാട്യം പ്രകടനങ്ങൾ കൂടുതൽ ആയി പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. ദിനവും അന്നത്തെ എട്ടുകെട്ടിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്ത് കലാപരിപാടികൾ നടന്നിരുന്നു.
The family temple, located on the southern side of the Alummoottil Tharavad, was dedicated to Lord Shiva, with the installation of the Shiva idol being the primary focus. The family members, who were devotees of Lord Nataraja, encouraged more Bharatanatyam performances. Daily, cultural events were held at the entrance of the Ettukettu structure of the household.
